CMA reveals line-up for 2014 Summit

The Content Marketing Association (CMA), the industry body for the content marketing industry, has announced first details of its line-up for the fifth annual International Content Marketing Summit and Awards Kings Place in London on November 26 2014.

BBC presenter Naga Munchetty will host a line-up of industry leading experts including Tess Mcleod Smith, Vice President, Publishing and Media, Net-A-Porter, Derek Scobie, Head of YouTube Brand Propositions, Northern & Central Europe, Google, and Richard Herd, Head of Commercial, Jamie Oliver.

Clare Hill, Managing Director, CMA, said: “Content marketing is a dynamic and evolving industry, worth over £4bn in the UK alone and we are set to see that spend grow in the coming years. So, I am hugely excited we can bring many of the world’s leading content marketing experts to our International Content Marketing Summit in London this November. The event promises to be a unique opportunity for delegates to learn from content marketing leaders on how to engage their target audience through the most effective campaigns possible, across all mediums from online video to social media to premium print products.”

The Summit will see over 350 senior personnel from brands, content agencies and media planning agencies gather to discuss strategies and secrets of their phenomenally successful campaigns, providing delegates with a day of education and inspiration to drive the industry forward, says the CMA.

The day will be chaired by Naga Munchetty, with confirmed speakers including:

According to the CMA, the day will be made up of case studies, panel discussions and presentations covering:

* Up to date research examining the industry and its future

* A detailed look at content marketing trends and how this should inform campaigns

* Expert guidance on technological developments and the effect of these on the industry

* Best-in-class advice on multiplatform campaign strategies

Also taking place at The Roundhouse in Camden, on the evening of November 26, is the International Content Marketing Awards 2014.
