Dennis announces partnership with The Big Issue

Dennis Communications has announced a deal with The Big Issue to provide a number of key publishing services for their magazine.

The Big Issue is one of the world’s most iconic and well known magazine brands. Since launching 20 years ago the business has sought to offer homeless people ‘a hand up, not a hand out’, by providing them with the means to earn an income. Vendors buy the magazine for £1 and sell it to the public for £2, and last year alone the business helped to put £8million in the pockets of homeless people.

Currently there are 5 regional editions of The Big Issue in the UK. The magazine is weekly with at least 48 pages of editorial content covering entertainment and lifestyle topics but with a specific focus on social issues.

Dennis Communications will be working closely with The Big Issue editorial and management teams to provide design, subbing and production services for the weekly magazine. Dennis Publishing is also taking on responsibility for generating advertising income for the magazine across the UK.
