Edited by experienced teen and music journalist, Malcolm Mackenzie, We Love Pop’s first issue features exclusive interviews from stars including The Wanted, plus never seen before pictures of One Direction.

We Love Pop’s digital incarnation: www.welovepopmag.co.uk, will complement in-mag editorial with key features including a rolling news blog, live Twitter and Facebook integration and dedicated YouTube channel featuring exclusive clips, behind the scenes footage, exclusive pictures, videos, competitions and downloads, enabling the We Love Pop audience to get their ‘pop fix’ in between print issues.

The launch of We Love Pop will be supported by an extensive marketing campaign including bespoke point-of-sale activity with high profile retailers Tesco, Asda, Co-op, Sainsbury’s Morrisons and WHS Travel, an outdoor advertising campaign across 30 London bus routes and a digital marketing campaign including bespoke activity across Stardoll, Sugarscape and Vevo.com.

We Love Pop will offer advertisers an opportunity to engage with a discerning audience of teen girls through a range of creative ad executions across We Love Pop’s print and digital platforms. We Love Pop is set to appeal to a broad spectrum of advertisers including fashion, ringtones, movies and music, says Egmont.

Editor Malcolm Mackenzie said: “Pop music and following the antics of pop stars has always been a fundamental part of growing up, but it has seen a real resurgence in the past couple of years. With pop domination of the charts, and a host of TV shows like Glee and X Factor feeding the buzz, we believe the time is right to bring the pop world to life for a new generation of teens.”

Siobhan Galvin, said: “Egmont firmly believes there is a place on the newsstand for a respected teen pop magazine. Our in-depth research into this audience demonstrates a real appetite for a magazine that delivers fresh and exciting pop content and we believe We Love Pop is set to refresh and revitalise the teen sector.”
