Future Music magazine increases video output

Future Music magazine has powered up its YouTube channel, Future Music Magazine, with a brand new, weekly schedule, expanding its online video content.

With a new focus and drive, the team are now offering on average 13 completely original videos per month, being a mixture of gear for music making, producer tips and the industry celebrated ‘In The Studio With…’ series – previously the preserve of the magazine’s covermounted DVD – that has featured international artists such as Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Armin Van Buuren, Martin Garrix among others.

The channel has become the most popular in the music technology and DJ sector. Growing at approximately 10,000 subscribers a month, with over 16 million total views and more subscribers than traditional brand heavyweights Mixmag and DJ magazine combined, says Future.

In the expansion, commercial partnership deals with core brands such as Steinberg – the world's largest manufacturers of music and audio software and hardware – have been created allowing further reach to big-name artists. The team have also secured content partnership deals with retailer Andertons Music Company and DV247 to help deliver the latest studio gear videos from the world’s biggest music shows such as NAMM in LA and Musikmesse in Frankfurt.

Rob Last, Head of Future Music, says, “The Future Music team have created a formula which the audience really love and the channel has developed into the perfect platform for us to work with clients across a range of content marketing solutions.
