New regulations announced this week mean that visitors arriving from “Red List” countries are required to quarantine for 10 days.
Keeping guests entertained and occupied for this duration isn’t an easy task, says Gold Key Media. The team at Arora Hotels asked Gold Key Media to come up with an easy to access “touch free” digital media solution that would allow their guests to be able to access content on their own devices by simply scanning a QR Code.
Once inside the platform, guests can choose from a wide range of international newspapers and magazines plus classic games such as Tetris, Battle Ships and Connect 4, or a selection of E-Books or Podcasts too.
To help to keep the guests informed, the hotels are also able to upload their menus, room directories and room service offerings too giving them the ability to upsell.
Gold Key Media Managing Director Chris Horn commented: “We’re delighted that Arora asked us to help them with this initiative. The task of keeping these guests occupied and entertained for this period of time is a tough ask and hopefully our digital media solution will provide some great solutions and options for them. We were given a tight deadline and managed to meet their objectives in time for arrival of guests.”
