Gold Key Media targets global decision makers at Davos

For the 7th year running, Gold Key Media has distributed select publications to delegates at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

The annual meeting which took place between 26th and 30th January is by invitation only, and in 2011 included Heads of State and politicians from the G20, CEOs of the world’s leading businesses, the heads of major international organisations, media leaders from top news organisations, social entrepreneurs, technology pioneers, and spiritual and cultural leaders.

The package, provided by Gold Key Media, targeted placement into officially approved hotels (including the Steinberger Belvedere, the official hotel), the Davos Press Centre, the Swiss Airlines lounge in Zurich, and the official executive limousine operators. Many of the hotels have a dedicated magazine stand in their foyer for this event. Publications involved this year included CNBC Business, World Finance, Spears Wealth Management Survey, and Olympic Review (the IOC’s official publication).

Chris Horn, Managing Director of Gold Key Media, says, “Events such as the WEF are great opportunities for publishers to target and access a very elusive and elite audience. Our publisher clients are able to secure additional advertising revenue, plus add readers and subscribers from this type of targeted niche placement program.”
