GQ launches in Turkey

GQ Turkiye's March issue launch cover features famous Turkish actress Demet Evgar and celebrity model Didem Soydan.

Inside the magazine there is an exclusive feature on Karem Catay, producer of some of the most popular TV shows in Turkey. Other articles include 'The Myth of the Turkish Man' backed by in depth research.

GQ Turkiye’s Editor-in-Chief Mirgun Cabas describes the magazine as follows: “GQ Turkiye has two main agendas: To be useful and entertaining. It’s useful, because it’s a guide for living. GQ shows the way to be more influential to men from all walks of life.”

“The magazine appeals to several different types of men. The mature, the ambitious, the playboy, the one who wants to be a playboy, the family guy, the satisfied, the restless, and the one with no specific ambitions…All these types of men come together, and they feel at ease with each other.”

Turkey has become the 20th market to boast an edition of the iconic men’s magazine, which is commonly known as “GQ”. The Turkish edition, produced in the Turkish language, is published in a license partnership with Dogus MediGroup, one of the country’s most successful print and broadcast media owners. Dogus started the Turkish edition of Vogue in 2010, and it quickly established a leadership position.
