Haymarket creates two new digital product management roles

Haymarket Consumer Media is strengthening its digital capabilities with the creation of two new roles in its consumer digital product management team.

New Head of Product Management Shana Hills (pictured) joins Haymarket from Trinity Mirror Group to lead the digital product team across Haymarket's brands including What Car?, PistonHeads and Stuff.

Shana, who is vice-chair of the Association of Online Publishers Product Development Group, will be responsible for creating a team of product experts across desktop and mobile, delivering digital products that meet the needs of Haymarket's fast growing audiences by co-ordinating the efforts of the editorial, sales, SEO, UX, marketing and development teams.

Haymarket also welcomes Shruti Ahuja, who joins this month as Head of Analytics from global ad agency WPP. Shruti brings significant experience in analytics solutions across ecommerce, automotive and media businesses, and will lead the development of new reporting and optimisation strategies to supplement Haymarket's recent investments in analytics software.

The appointments reflect Haymarket's commitment to accelerating the growth of its digital business, which now reaches more than 12 million users a month across automotive, football and consumer electronics, say the publishers.

Managing director David Prasher said: “Haymarket Consumer is focused on creating a digital product management culture to develop our existing online brands and create new ones. Both Shana and Shruti have deep experience in online product development and will perform crucial roles in building our capability here.”
