The Homes & Gardens Collection embodies the spirit of Homes & Gardens – classically English but with a fresh, modern feel. The range spans fabrics and wallpapers, offering over 90 variations of florals, stripes, toiles and graphic patterns. All are either inspired by designs from GP&J Baker’s huge archive or newly created by Baker Lifestyle designer Val Healy to have timeless appeal.
Homes & Gardens publisher Belinda Cooper says: “GP&J Baker is synonymous with innovation in fabric design and has one of the largest privately owned textile archives in the world. We’re delighted to be working with such a renowned partner to create a beautiful and unique collection that absolutely embodies our core values. This is the perfect partnership between two classic English brands and the logical development of a long-standing relationship. It’s been a hugely exciting project from the start”
Ann Grafton, managing director of GP&J Baker, says of the partnership: “It has been wonderfully refreshing to work with editor Deborah Barker and decorating editor Kate French. Through their exceptional expertise in the field of interior and lifestyle magazines, they have brought a completely new editorial perspective to the process, as well as a wider vision of the challenges that decorating today presents.”
Christened with names of English country houses and gardens such as Mottisfont, Charlecote and Chillingham, the Homes & Gardens Collection will be available from the end of September at a range of stockists (obtainable by calling 01202 266700) as well as all John Lewis stores.
Homes & Gardens will feature the new collection within a special supplement in its November issue, out early October.
