House & Garden to design Harrods window displays

House & Garden and Harrods have announced a partnership to celebrate the launch of Harrods Is Home – a new direction in home for the store, showcasing an edit of the world’s most sought-after designers, new brands and first to market retail concepts, across the third floor furniture department.

Harrods will showcase 11 dramatic window displays from February 9 to March 3, with House & Garden Decoration Editor, Gabby Deeming curating six windows along the Brompton Road, illustrating smart schemes for modern living.

House & Garden Decoration Editor, Gabby Deeming comments: “I’ve approached the Harrods window designs with the Harrods customer in mind – someone with great design sense. I wanted to show the brilliant product that is available across the second and third floors in a way that I hope will surprise and inspire people.”

Harrods’ Director of Home, Annalise Quest comments: “We are delighted to be working with House & Garden to celebrate the launch of Harrods’ new direction in home and furniture. Harrods Is Home has been developed to capture the imagination of the design savvy customer, by creating a world-class destination for homewares and furniture.”

Sue Crewe, Editor of House & Garden adds: “These fabulous windows have been created by Gabby using exceptional pieces from collections carried by Harrods. They show a chic, modern aesthetic that will chime with the lifestyle of the store's sophisticated clientele.”

The Harrods Is Home window displays curated by Gabby Deeming can be seen at Harrods from February 9 to March 3, and in the March issue of House & Garden on sale from Monday 3rd February.
