The contract will run for three years and the business will transfer from 01 July.

Evelyn says: “This decision follows a rigorous tender process which considered a comprehensive range of options in great detail. We’re confident that the contracts awarded to Wyndeham today provide the best long term solutions for our magazines.”

Charlie Meredith, who took up the role of managing director of IPC Central Operations in January, adds: “I’m delighted at this early point in my new role that we have been able to complete this tender process – and award the business to Wyndeham, which offers a strong and thoroughly modern portfolio of print solutions that best suit our titles moving forward.”

IPC manufacturing director Jasper Scott (pictured) added: “It’s been a thorough and complex process to arrive at today’s decision. There was a range of key criteria, including resource, technology and investment proposals; business continuity plans; scheduling and account handling process; and of course, pricing and cost/resource efficiency proposals. All criteria have been geared towards achieving true partnership over the long term. And with the acquisition of Southernprint last year, Wyndeham Group became the deserved front runner to win this tender.”
