ISH adopts Hematology as official journal

Maney Publishing has announced that Hematology has been formally adopted as the official journal of the International Society of Hematology (ISH) from 2011.

The journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Adrian Newland CBE, Professor of Hematology at Barts and The London School of Medicine, UK, commented: “This is a very exciting development for both Hematology and the ISH and we look forward to a long, fruitful and productive relationship.”

This partnership will be recognised immediately as representatives from the three divisions of the society join the international editorial board. Members of the Society will receive the journal at a discounted rate as part of their subscription.

Professor Saengsuree Jootar, Chair of the Council of the ISH is confident that the partnership will promote collaboration. “ISH members will have access to the journal as a membership benefit and will be encouraged to view the journal as an outlet for their published work. The ISH see this partnership as a vital step in the development of the Society over the next few years.”
