John Brown launches new titles

Contract publisher John Brown has just launched new magazine titles for Waitrose and Bupa.

Waitrose Kitchen, a monthly magazine, is out now, with a “bumper” print run of 350,000 and a cover price of £1.00.

The award-winning Waitrose Food Illustrated magazine evolves into a new-look publication this month when Waitrose launches Waitrose Kitchen – a fresh and modern food bible for cookery inspiration for all occasions, from the everyday to the special.

It will encourage more people to share the Waitrose passion for good food and cooking – with great recipes, beautiful photography and the biggest and best-loved names in the food world. There will be a vast range of time-saving tips and inspirational ideas for the busy Waitrose customer.

This month also saw John Brown launch two brand-new customer magazines from leading healthcare brand Bupa.

The magazines cater for Bupa's individual and business members. Consumer health title Bupa Health News combines authoritative, helpful health-based features, news and case studies with a lively, consumer-friendly approach for individual Bupa members, while business members' title Bupa Update offers company owners, HR directors and group secretaries an essential, benefit-driven briefing on how their business can benefit from making health a company-wide priority.

By using smart segmentation, Bupa Update also appears as a specially tailored edition for intermediaries, giving them access to all the information and product alerts their customers are getting, plus key briefings on sales.
