Johnston Press partners with Cherry London

Johnston Press has signed a partnership with Cherry London to develop quality promotions across their titles that will drive subscriptions and newspaper sales.

Johnston Press says: The brand partnership specialist will use our reach into local communities as the key to delivering national partners who want to target engaged and loyal audiences on a mass scale.

Cherry London already works with Aviva, O2 and Visa and it will help create a cohesive and engaging national partnership strategy for us that will benefit all of our brands.

The first promotions will run for four weeks with a different offer each week themed around ‘spring into summer’ The campaign will include a mixture of giveaways, summer dining, DIY discounts for the bank holiday and a ‘summer sounds’ album download which is intended to drive both circulation and online traffic.

The key offer will be 2 for 1 tickets to some of the UK’s leading theme parks and tourist attractions in the Merlin group whose venues include Thorpe Park, Legoland, Chessington World of Adventures, Sea Life, Warwick Castle and Alton Towers.
