Le Figaro Group & Outbrain Extend Collaboration

Le Figaro Group and Outbrain this week announced the extension of their partnership.

The announcement marks the beginning of an exclusive, multi-year agreement that will see Le Figaro Group integrate Outbrain’s proprietary content recommendation technology to enhance its user experience and seamlessly surface video and sponsored content across all screens.

The alliance builds upon a strong relationship between Outbrain and Le Figaro.fr, an early adopter of the content discovery platform’s offering, and will allow all main channels of Le Figaro Group to leverage Outbrain’s technology.

As a result, says Outbrain, Sport 24, Mag TV, Madame Figaro and Evene can now rely on powerful insight capabilities and real-time statistical analysis to inform their sponsored content and video strategies, thus driving new users, additional video views and engagement.

In addition to editorial content, the new agreement enables Le Figaro.fr and its group channels to offer sponsored content to every user and fully leverage the scale of the media owners digital audience, while allowing advertisers privileged interaction with the 10 million strong audience of Le figaro.fr.

As a pioneer in mobile and the leading French news site, Le Figaro.fr has also worked closely with Outbrain to deploy solutions across its entire mobile offering. It has focused particular attention on improving the 'look & feel' of its recommendations in order to optimize engagement, personalization and enhance its user experience, both within its responsive design site and apps group environment (Le Figaro, Sport24 and TVMAG).
