New look for Classic Bike Guide

Classic Bike Guide, Mortons Media Group’s monthly title, is being relaunched with the May issue, which goes on sale 25 April, priced £3.99.

According to distributors COMAG: Classic Bike Guide is the monthly motorcycle title for petrolheads who have an appreciation of old motorcycles, whether they are enthusiast owners, restorers or collectors.

With a team of expert writers and photographers, Classic Bike Guide aims to inspire, inform, motivate and solve problems for anyone who owns or aspires to own, a classic motorcycle.  A reliable resource for anyone who is building or restoring old bikes, Classic Bike Guide is well respected and authoritative on all aspects of motorbikes, but above all, it is fun!

Primarily focused on classic British motorcycles from the 1960s onwards, Classic Bike Guide also covers early Japanese machines of the 1960s and ’70s, as well as exotic European and American bikes of yesteryear, whether factory standard or modified classics.

From the May issue, Classic Bike Guide is being relaunched with a fresh new design, new look, new features and a new editor takes the helm (handlebars?) to oversee all the changes.

One of the most respected bike journalists in the business, Gary Pinchin is aiming to encourage new, younger enthusiasts to read the magazine, while retaining the existing readership by finding fresh takes on the core content that has earned Classic Bike Guide its reputation.

An example of by expanding the magazine’s coverage for a younger audience is more coverage of the café racer phenomenon, where bikes are ridden fast between cafés and coffee shops. Born in the early 1960s, café racing is increasingly popular with young riders around the world.

Using only the best writers and photographers in the classic bike scene, from the May issue Classic Bike Guide will have a broader coverage of the subject than ever before, with more bikes of all kinds in every issue, superb photography and a clean, modern style.
