The offer is backed by an advertising campaign on TV, radio and in-paper, with a dedicated customer facing website DeliverMySun.co.uk.
The trade reaction to the success of the Home Delivery campaign has prompted News UK to extend the offer to The Times and The Sunday Times readers, with the launch of DeliverMyTimes.co.uk.
At no cost to them, readers will only have to pay the cover price of their newspaper, with News UK absorbing all delivery costs for that period, valued at up to £25.
Offers for all three titles will be supported heavily via extensive in-store retail campaigns, says the company.
This continued investment has seen the company build up a network of 6,500 retailers across Britain. With 40 dedicated field agents on the ground across the UK, the core focus is to help support independent newsagents, by building their customer base within their local communities.
News UK Chief Marketing Officer Chris Duncan said: “We’ve listened carefully to our retail partners who have told us that home delivery plays a crucial role in building a loyal customer base. Customers love the convenience of a paper coming through their door without them leaving the house, and we hope this trial encourages more of them to try that service. We’re proud of our work with the retail channel and hope this further demonstrates our commitment to putting customers into their shops and money in their pockets.”
Readers have four delivery options to choose from – 7 day, weekends only, Saturday only or Sunday only – where the cost of delivery (cost of paper not included) has been valued at £25, £10, £5 and £5 respectively for the promotional period.
Signing up is simple, says News UK. Readers can visit DeliverMySun.co.uk or DeliverMyTimes.co.uk and search for the retailer of their choice who will deliver vouchers within 72 hours. Those vouchers are then handed into their chosen retailer alongside the remaining balance of their newspaper bill.
