NFRN Reshuffles Regions

Two of the NFRN’s three operational regions have been renamed and some of the district responsibilities of the operations managers have changed in a New Year reshuffle.

Unveiling the changes, national training and field operations manager Charles Fleckney said: “It is crucial that the NFRN regularly reviews its operational set up to ensure that we are best positioned to serve our members. These changes are a very positive move for the Federation while the renaming of two of the three regions will better reflect the new structure.”

The three NFRN regions, which took effect from January 1, are Northern, Midlands and Southern which will be managed by Margaret McCloskey, Roz Robinson and Roger Carter respectively.

As a result of the reshuffle, the North West district now forms part of the Northern region while the Republic of Ireland becomes part of the Southern region.

The Southern region will also now contain Devon & Cornwall (previously managed by Roz Robinson), while the East Midlands and Eastern Counties districts move to the Midlands region.

The new set up in full is:

Northern Region – Northern Ireland, Scotland, Northern and North West

Midlands Region – Yorkshire, Mersey Dee and North Wales, South Wales, West Midlands, East Midlands, Western, Eastern Counties

Southern Region – Devon & Cornwall, Southern, London, Kent, ROI.
