To celebrate the launch of the X6 16GB, the “ultimate entertainment device”, Nokia is calling on the UK’s budding showbiz reporters to submit a 60 second video clip of themselves in reporting mode to: http://www.nokia.co.uk/x6-all-areas showing why they should be selected as the X6 All Areas entertainment reporter.
To drive the recruitment phase of the competition, Nokia have partnered with several of Bauer Media’s celebrity, fashion, lifestyle, music and film brands – in print, on air and online.
This bespoke campaign was created by Nokia, Bauer Media and Carat Sponsorship.
Six finalists will be selected by the celebrity judging panel featuring Paloma Faith, Jameela Jamil & Matt Horne to take part in the ultimate job interview and report from six events around the world.
4Music, Kiss, Grazia, FHM, heat and Empire will also mentor and coach the finalists with their coverage from each event appearing in the relevant brands.
The finalists will kick off their special assignment in London at the Nokia X6 launch party on 3rd March. Then they will be whisked off to Hollywood for Oscars Week, stop off in Austria for the Snowbombing festival, hook up with Rihanna on her European tour, report from the racetrack at the Spanish F1 Grand Prix and finally finish at the exclusive Belvedere Vodka party at Cannes Film Festival in May.
The celebrity panel will then judge the finalist’s reports from each event and decide on an overall winner to become Nokia’s X6 All Areas entertainment reporter for a whole year.
