North Devon Journal appoints new editor

Chloe Hubbard, currently chief reporter for the North Devon Journal has been appointed editor.

Chloe (pictured) started her career in 2006 as a trainee journalist working at the Journal as sports reporter, before later making the move into news.

She has worked as a reporter for South West News Service and BBC Radio Devon, as well as working on the news desk at the Western Daily Press.

The Journal is Chloe’s first editorship, something she says is made doubly special because she is a North Devon local.

Chloe Hubbard said: “I am absolutely delighted to be appointed editor of the North Devon Journal. Not only because it is an incredible opportunity, but also because the team at the Journal are the most professional, hard-working and fun group of people I could wish to have as colleagues. I am thrilled I can continue my career in this beautiful part of the country I am proud to say is home.”

Chloe takes up her new post on the 16 April 2012.
