Printing Charity increases payments

The Printing Charity announces increased financial help in response to rising living costs.

The Printing Charity, a leading national charity for the UK printing, publishing, graphic arts and allied trades, announces it has increased the payments it makes to people under its Regular Financial Assistance. The rise from £20 to £22 per week represents a ten per cent increase in real terms.

Stephen Gilbert, Chief Executive of The Printing Charity, explains: “Rising living costs are eroding the standard of living for people on lower incomes. Our Board of Trustees agreed to the increase in response to the difficulty many of the people we help are having in paying for basics like food, heating and petrol.”

About the Printing Charity

The Printing Charity says: “The Printing Charity provides financial support for people who work or have worked in the UK printing, publishing, graphic arts and allied trades for a minimum of five years, as well as their dependent family members.”
