Relaunch: Classic Bike Guide

Classic Bike Guide, from Mortons Media Group, is being relaunched with its February issue.

According to distributors COMAG: “As the title says, Classic Bike Guide is a guide to the world of classic bike riding and ownership for people who are enthusiasts, not experts.

Classic Bike Guide, the nation’s best-loved classic biking magazine will increase in size from the February issue to super A4 size along with 16 extra pages packed with news and reviews from the world of classic bikes.

In addition to the new larger size, Classic Bike Guide also carries an all-new front section about buying, running and riding the old bikes we all love.

The February issue features reviews of the iconic BSA 350, 500 and 650 Gold Stars, which have been tested back-to-back, with free A2 poster of the tests.

As well as this, the February issue takes a fresh look at the Honda CB92 Benly – the bike that brought high-revving GP technology to the commuter classes, an in-depth feature about the McIntyre Matchless race bike, a buyer’s guide for Triumph’s T140 (the best real-world British twin) and a ‘one owner’ report on the new Velocette Venom.

In addition to all of this, someone finally explains clearly how a Smiths Chronometric speedometer (as fitted to pretty much every old Brit bike ever) works!”
