Mail Sport says Sami’s weekly column will see him take readers behind the curtain of football's news stories and bring his perspective to MailOnline readers with his contacts book.
Known for breaking stories and his knowledge of the game, Sami’s reporting has earned him a reputation as one of the most respected voices in football journalism today, added the publisher.
Following his story on Raheem Sterling’s axing by Chelsea this week, Sami said: “I am excited to be launching my new column for Mail Sport.
“It will be bursting with exclusive news and behind the scenes information. I can’t wait to get started.”
Sami’s column will debut this Thursday and will be exclusively available to read on MailOnline.
The Mail’s global publisher of sport, Lee Clayton added: “Sami is a brilliant operator with extensive contacts throughout football.
"He will bring our readers stories the clubs don’t want you to know. Sami is a golden boot winner as a journalist and the Erling Haaland of story getting.”
