The deal with Livingetc.com will enable its visitors to access hundreds of Britain’s most desirable homes brands, including products, furniture and accessories for every room in the home and even electrical goods.
The partnership extends an already successful relationship between ShopStyle and IPC Southbank, publisher of Livingetc, which began last year when ShopStyle began powering the shopping channel for Southbank’s instyle.co.uk. In July this year, both womanandhome.com and marieclaire.co.uk introduced new fashion shopping services powered by ShopStyle.
Users of this new co-branded shopping service can search interiors retailers by item, colour, price, brand and even designer. Homes enthusiasts can also access ShopStyle’s unique social media applications, already proving popular with ShopStyle’s half a million unique visitors. From wishlists and sales alerts to personal stylebooks, users can create their own collections of stylish items that they can save, share and then click-through to buy.
In addition, Livingetc has enhanced the new shopping service with editorial content such as design news and inspiration galleries.
“It’s really great to be extending our successful partnership with IPC Southbank,” says Shannon Edwards, Director of ShopStyle and no.16 in The Independent’s Online Fashion 100 most influential. “With hundreds of stylish home brands to shop from including John Lewis and House of Fraser to Graham and Green and Designers Guild, we hope Livingetc.com users will enjoy our offering” she continues.
Yvonne Ramsden (pictured), publishing director of Livingetc, says: “Livingetc.com visitors are passionate about their homes and are always dreaming about their next interiors project. Livingetc.com offers them unrivalled expert advice and interiors inspiration and now a brilliant shopping service. ShopStyle is a great addition to the site.”
