Tesco chooses Air Business

Air Business has closed a landmark deal with Tesco Plc, to handle distribution of international mail to selected countries in Europe.

Air Business Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of An Post (the Irish Post Office), has just signed a landmark contract with supermarket and retail giant Tesco Plc to oversee international mail distribution to an undisclosed number of countries in Europe, underscoring a string of recent successful gains for the company in spite of the economic down turn, says the company. The contract started on February 1st.

Air Business Group Managing Director, Adam Sherman (pictured) had this to say upon closing the deal: “I can’t stress enough how delighted we are to have been chosen by Tesco to act as the preferred carrier for this very important project. This is a really significant win for us.  I believe it’s also a fitting testament to Air Business’ ethos of consistently delivering the highest quality, best value-added services available, that we are seeing such an increase in high profile brands like Tesco coming to us for their distribution solutions. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a long and productive relationship for all involved.”
