The podcast will cover everything from sex and relationships, money and careers, managing mental health and much more, says The Sun.
Each week, she’ll be joined by special expert guests and celebrities. Episode one covers bullying with TOWIE’s Bobby Norris, and episode two covers the broad and ever evolving subject of identity. Joined by psychotherapist Reenee Singh who has over 25 year of experience, and Scarlett Harnett, star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season three, Sally discusses the broad themes within identity including misconceptions and discrimination.
Sally says: “I’m very excited about the first ever Dear Deidre podcast. Dear Deidre is the best known advice column and has been for over 40 years.
“After taking on the role of The Sun’s new resident agony aunt, a year and a half ago, I wanted to ensure Dear Deidre remained at the top by remaining relevant and contemporary.
“This podcast is about making difficult, shocking and sometimes heart-breaking topics accessible and relatable to everyone.
“We want to reach new audiences through a new medium and offer our loyal readers greater insight into issues.
“The Dear Deidre team helps countless people with their problems. We help heal broken families, reconcile warring couples, reset flagging sexual relationships, help parents struggling with their children and it is no exaggeration to say we save people’s lives.”
New episodes will be available every Thursday from the 16th June.
