Neil Webster: “As the trusted local publisher, we can now help customers put together a promotional campaign on Facebook that is optimised and targeted based on geography, audience and campaign requirements."

Tindle says the Facebook marketing campaigns, which run for a minimum of four weeks at a time, allow businesses to benefit from the trust in their local news websites aligned with the reach generated by appearing on Facebook, which globally attracts three billion monthly active users.

Each package is developed individually for each advertiser, with their specific needs forming the basis for targeted local campaigns.

Advertisers taking up the offer benefit from campaign planning, focused activity in only the local areas they want to reach as well as posts optimised to generate the highest level of response.

The team also offer full account management, ensuring every penny of the advertising budget is maximized, along with full reporting and expert analysis of the campaign, including click-through results at the end of each campaign.

Tindle says it offers a fast turnaround and campaigns can be developed and activated within 48 hours.

According to Tindle, recent Google Analytics reports show nearly 1.5 million unique users visit the network each month, registering over 3.5 million page views.

The Group publishes trusted local brands in key locations across Surrey, Hampshire, the South West, Wales and the Isle of Man. Websites includes Isle of Man Today, Cambrian News, the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Review, Cornish Times and Farnham Herald.

Neil Webster, commercial digital officer, said the Facebook campaigns were designed to give advertisers wider reach for their spend. He said: “As the trusted local publisher, we can now help customers put together a promotional campaign on Facebook that is optimised and targeted based on geography, audience and campaign requirements, all aligned with our local masthead brands.

“It is important to us that we offer professionally created and managed campaigns that extends client advertising on to one of the world’s most powerful social media platforms on a localised basis.

“We have run campaigns across four regions so far with pleasing results so we are hoping to help many more local customers across the country as we roll out this service.”

The marketing package launch comes on the back of introducing iServe, an online platform delivered in partnership with leading technology partner Viztrade, added Tindle, which allows advertisers to create and place targeted digital advertising on over 30 news brands in the Tindle network.

Using the iServe web portal, Tindle says an advertiser can build a campaign, pay for and start advertising to local customers within hours. No minimum spend is required and businesses can pick from a range of formats to only pay for advertising delivered, with a full report available at the end of the campaign.
