Trinity Mirror launches NASa

Trinity Mirror has unveiled a new unified national sales advertising structure that, it says, will provide an unrivalled suite of multimedia advertising solutions for customers.

The National Advertising Sales Agency (NASa) will represent Trinity Mirror’s regional, national and digital newspaper brands as well as a growing number of external publisher clients.

The new structure will combine the national, regional and the digital sales teams for the first time allowing the Group to create innovative cross media solutions of scale across all news brands represented by NASa.

Led by Managing Director David Emin, the unit will have three core divisions: national sales, innovations and a team offering a bespoke service to independent publishers.

NASa will be a fully-integrated sales business with national, regional and digital experts working together in teams.

The new senior management team includes: Gary McNish, Regional Managing Director; Andy Whelan, Advertising Director; Shaun Jordan, Digital Sales Director; Mark Field, Business Development Director; and, Yvon Nolle, Head of Client Sales.

David Emin, said: “Our unified structure will allow us to exploit the full potential of our audience reach while also delivering innovative creative solutions for customers across our entire portfolio of news brands – in print, online, on mobile and on tablet. Furthermore, as a unified sales operation our reach in terms of print audiences puts us as the clear number one in the UK.”

The new structure will be in place by the start of April.
