Marc Bresseel: “Built as people-first, we give consumers real control and choice over their privacy, while facilitating more relevant digital marketing experiences.”

Utiq, a European adtech company with a telco-powered first-party identifier, has announced the launch of its Trusted Partner Programme and Certification for the industry.

Utiq says collaboration across the digital advertising ecosystem has been a key part of its business model and roadmap since the company’s inception 18 months ago. The new launch will help Utiq on its mission to be a catalyst for change, helping create a trusted and responsible ad-funded internet with privacy and data protection at its heart, added the company.

The Trusted Partner Programme educates for evangelism, sales enablement, and implementation of the Utiq service to help engage a wider set of industry customers than Utiq could achieve on its own, continued the company. It brings in key industry stakeholders, such as agencies and consultancies, to help drive more responsible digital marketing through Utiq’s telco-powered Authentic Consent Service.

The programme and certification encompasses three key roles, added Utiq: business consultant, technical architect and data & analytics architect, with training content that includes content on its technology, customer use cases and value creation, technical deployment and integrations, testing and delivery, and measurement and reporting.

Utiq says it will deliver the programme through a combination of online learning, 1:1 coaching from the company’s subject matter experts, and final examination and certification.

According to the company, the first partners to have progressed through the programme and achieved certification include GroupM and Accenture Song.

"At GroupM, we are proud to be one of the first certified partners of Utiq. This innovative technology brings tremendous value to our advertisers, taking marketing optimization and personalization to the next level while always keeping user privacy at the core. That is why we believe our partnership with Utiq is a key alliance on the path toward a more sustainable, scalable, and privacy-focused future for our industry," stated Miguel Ángel Miguélez, data strategy & martech director, GroupM Spain.

Marta Gran Latorre, digital strategy analyst at Accenture Song, commented after completing her training: "Participating in Utiq's Trusted Partner Programme has been a truly unique experience. Their innovative service stands out, and the e-learning process has been incredibly simple, fast, and enriching. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to grow and learn efficiently."

Meanwhile, Marc Bresseel, Utiq’s CEO, said: “Built as people-first, we give consumers real control and choice over their privacy, while facilitating more relevant digital marketing experiences. But to drive this change at scale - the change we know our Authentic Consent Service can deliver - requires ecosystem-level trust, understanding and participation. The Utiq Trusted Partner Programme is built around this premise, harnessing the experience, relationships and influence that businesses like Accenture Song and GroupM carry in the market. We know that by working together for the mutual interests of people, publishers, and brands, we can achieve this ultimate goal.”

Initially launched in Spain, Utiq says it is now expanding the programme across its other operational markets, including Germany, France, UK, Italy and Austria.
