CDS Global makes Asia Pacific appointment

CDS Global has announced Jon Westnedge as regional director, Asia Pacific for CDS Global, Australia, effective immediately.

Mark Judd, managing director for CDS Global UK & Australia, commented on the new appointment: “I am delighted that Jon is joining CDS Global on a permanent basis. He has a strong background in business development and excellent experience in publishing. New trends in publishing require CDS Global to continue to evolve and Jon’s knowledge of the industry will bolster our long-term strategy”.

Westnedge has been supporting the Australian business since October 2013 as business development consultant and has actively been seeking potential new business and market opportunities for CDS Global.

Westnedge spent the last seventeen years working in the publishing and media sectors. For the past two years, he has been responsible for implementing B2B technology websites and lead generation for Dennis Publishing UK, where he was digital publishing director. He has been responsible for successfully building brands and products, across all media streams for: Haymarket Media UK & Australia, ZDNet Australia (Sydney), TNT Magazine (London) and IPC Magazines (London).
