DMD set up Media Walls at Birmingham Airport

DMD has announced the launch of a new location for its Media Wall concept, giving publishers new access to the travelling public in the Midlands.

DMD Media Walls at Birmingham Airport builds on the success of Media Walls at Gatwick Airport in London and Edinburgh and Glasgow airports in Scotland, says DMD.

“Birmingham Airport is celebrating its fifth consecutive month of growth this year, handling more than one million passengers per month and with their exciting plans for a £100 million investment in terminal works, it’s a great place for publishers to be seen and for brands to engage with the travelling audience,” said Anya Ahmad, DMD Head of UK, Ireland and Spain.

“Birmingham’s great selection of carriers including British Airways and long-haul carriers such as Qatar, Emirates and Turkish Airlines provides access to a diverse passenger mix and profile which is great for product sampling.”

DMD now has stands in 26 locations beyond the point of retail in and around departure lounges throughout Birmingham Airport.

These offer “unrivalled” opportunities to publishers to reach an incredibly valuable premium market segment at a point where typically they are receptive to media sampling and extended engagement with their reading matter, says the company.
