Edward Enninful: “Fashion needs to become more sustainable and the circular fashion ecosystem is an important part of that.”

Friends of British Vogue will join eBay in the annual Forces for Change dinner to promote the importance of sustainability in fashion.

Beginning in 2019 with the landmark Forces for Change issue of British Vogue, this long-standing editorial and commercial initiative continues to spotlight those who are driving progress in diverse areas of culture, fashion, activism, sustainability, commerce, arts, beauty, sports and more, says the publisher.

Edward Enninful, editor in chief British Vogue and European Editorial Director Vogue said: “Fashion needs to become more sustainable and the circular fashion ecosystem is an important part of that. I'm delighted that eBay, who do much to champion fashion resale is joining our Forces for Change initiative so we can contribute to the conversation around sustainability together.”

Kirsty Keoghan, global GM of fashion at eBay said: “We’re really excited about this partnership as it embodies all that we stand for – celebrating circular fashion. Through the partnership we hope to encourage more people to choose pre-loved first. With value at the forefront of everyone’s minds, it’s now more important than ever to showcase how consumers can get their hands on luxury gems, for less, through opting for pre-loved.”

British Vogue says media for this work was handled by Essence Mediacom.
