FourFourTwo.com launches in Singapore and Malaysia

Haymarket’s digital expansion in Asia took another step forward this month with the Singapore team launched local versions of FourFourTwo’s website in both Singapore and Malaysia.

Former England and Manchester United star Paul Parker joined Singapore’s celebrity football pundits, TV presenters, media agencies and clients on 13 March for the industry-facing event held to celebrate the launch.

Brand Director for Haymarket Media Asia, Andy Jackson, said: “This is a major milestone for the FourFourTwo brand with our first owned media launching in Southeast Asia… The approaching World Cup gives us the perfect opportunity to launch in more markets and build audiences quickly to give us scale that we can offer our commercial partners.”

The local versions of FourFourTwo’s responsive site, that launched with Nike as its first advertiser, will continue to give Asia’s football fans news and features from the most popular leagues in the world.

It will also inject excitement into Singapore’s S. League and the Malaysian Super League with local coverage before rolling out local language versions in key Southeast Asian markets to accompany its print editions.

FourFourTwo.com’s Southeast Asia editor, Zee Ko, said: “Singapore and Malaysia offer a unique opportunity, as they're football mad. You’re as likely to find a Premier League, Serie A, La Liga or Bundesliga connoisseur on these streets as you are a fan of the local S.League or Malaysian Super League.”

Haymarket Media’s newest website launch comes just three months after the launch of its local version of the Stuff site.
