GQ at One New Change

To celebrate the launch of One New Change, the City of London’s largest and newest shopping destination, GQ will be hosting a lunch time and an evening fashion within the city mall.

The fashion shows will take place at 12.30pm and 7pm on Thursday 18th November, including brands such as Hugo Boss, H&M, Topman, All Saints, Banana Republic and Reiss. All guests will enjoy “exclusive special offers, a fabulous goody bag and champagne”. They will also have the chance have the chance to meet GQ’s very own Associate Editor and Style Shrink, Robert Johnston, who will be on hand to answer any fashion dilemmas. Tickets are free, but they are very limited and will be issued on a first-come, first served basis for both readers and One New Change visitors, via the website.

Jamie Bill (pictured), Publishing Director of GQ, comments, “This development is set to become one of London’s major new shopping destinations – it’s exciting, and we’re thrilled to be marking its arrival.”

Robert Johnston, Associate Editor of GQ and Style Shrink, comments, “One New Change successfully merges high street brands and independent boutiques in an area rich with heritage and big business. Brands such as Topshop, H&M and Banana Republic will be making their maiden voyage to the City, which is evidence in itself of the importance of the development.”

Martha Carson, Head of Consumer Marketing at Land Securities, comments; “Our fashion shows with GQ will be the perfect way to announce the impressive retail offering that One New Change is bringing to the City of London. When One New Change opens on 28th October it will house the big-hitting brands that have never before had a presence within the City and will return Cheapside to seven days a week trading, breathing new life into the City on the weekends.”

In addition to these reader events, the launch of One New Change is also being backed by advertising in upcoming issues.

The City mall on Cheapside is set to be a fusion of shopping and dining, with around 60 stores spanning three floors and housed within a modernist glass building. It will also include Barbecoa, a new concept restaurant from celebrity chefs Jamie Oliver and Adam Perry Lang, flagship fashion stores and unique one-off speciality shops, all set overlooking London’s most famous landmark, St Paul’s Cathedral.
