Launch of Autism Eye

Award-winning journalists who are also the parents of a child with autism have come together to launch a new source of information to help other people in their position.

Mark Hayes and Gillian Loughran are launching Autism Eye to keep parents and carers of children with autism informed about the latest research into the condition and treatments for it.

Loughran, Autism Eye’s editor, said: “Our mission is to offer an affordable way for parents to keep informed about ways to improve their child’s life through in-depth and unbiased coverage.” Topics such as diet, nutrition, biomedical treatments and the latest educational interventions, plus important legal news and advice, will all be covered.

According to Loughran: “We will seek to inspire our readers with stories of parents who are making a difference to their child’s life.” Autism Eye costs £20 for an annual subscription for parents in the UK, with the price including postage and packaging.
