LexisNexis re-brands payroll title

London, 31 March, 2009 – LexisNexis has re-branded and re-designed Payroll & Human Resources to become Pay & Benefits magazine. The change, says the publisher, reflects the growing needs of businesses and their payroll departments in the downturn.

The new focus will concentrate on benefits-related issues and payroll concerns, while continuing to deliver expert commentary and analysis on the industry.

Kavitha Sivasubramaniam, Editor of Pay & Benefits, said: “Employee benefits and payroll issues have been propelled up the business agenda in today’s economic environment. Budgets are tighter than ever before and the pressure to develop and identify creative incentives for employees and attractive rewards schemes is tough. Payroll departments will be better served by Pay & Benefits in achieving those goals.

“Like any industry, business-to-business magazines need to adapt when the economy changes to provide the best service to its readers, and that is what we are doing with Pay & Benefits.”

While the magazine will continue to provide all the latest news affecting the industry and in-depth articles about all aspects of employee benefits, from company cars to childcare, the re-launch will bring employee benefits and payroll topics closer together.

In terms of design, the magazine cover and pages will be given a fresh new look to reflect the new feel and direction of the publication, which will begin with the April issue.

Simon Collin, Publishing Director of magazines and journals at LexisNexis, commented: “We have the largest circulation in the industry and to maintain that status it is essential that we remain fluid and move with the needs of our readership. Pay & Benefits is not only a re-launch, it is a timely response to the needs of the payroll industry.”

Pay & Benefits will remain at £119 for a yearly subscription (12 issues).
