Local World appoints National Sales Director

Damien Tidd has been appointed National Sales Director for Local World.

Damien’s responsibilities will include reviewing the current national advertising packages across Local World and liaising with nasa, the sales agency which represents Local World’s national advertising, to ensure the business is driving revenues both in print and online.

Damien previously worked for an independent sales house, Madison Bell where he grew the advertising revenue for several magazines including the National Trust magazine and Private Eye. Prior to that he worked for Northcliffe Media as National Advertising Sales Director.

He said: "Having worked in media for more than 20 years. I am delighted to be getting back into regional media and joining the team at Local World – a company with such a strong portfolio of print and digital products."

Damien joins Local World on 3 March 2014.
