The list has been incorporated into the existing format of France magazine, so the 200 different experiences – from cycling on the Ile de Re to drinking Champagne in a treetop bar – run through the features and regular sections.
"The challenge was not coming up with 200 experiences," said editor Carolyn Boyd, "but narrowing them down from more than 1000 suggestions we made ourselves, and got from our writers, readers and many contacts. It has been a pleasure to put it together, not least because it is my 100th edition as editor."
