Men’s Health records highest-ever ad revenue

Men’s Health has recorded its highest-ever advertising revenue for the forthcoming November issue, on sale 3 October.

According to the publishers, revenue for the issue is up 13% year-on-year and surpasses the previous record held since December 2007. The Men’s Health November issue includes adverts from Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel, Harrods, Virgin upper class, Land Rover, Uniqlo and Converse.

In addition, menshealth.co.uk has also recorded its highest-ever monthly advertising revenue in September. The month is up 78% on September 2010 and has included business from Uniqlo, Land Rover, Gillette, Star Wars, BMW and Chrysler.

Men’s Health Publisher Duncan Chater says: “It has been a historic month for Men’s Health and is wonderful to see all of the team’s hard work come to fruition. Our share of luxury business continues to grow as Men’s Health is a proven vehicle for driving sales of premium goods.”

He continues, “This is down to its unique blend of upmarket consumers in large scale numbers across both print and digital. The Men’s Health brand has never been bigger, offering multiple solutions across multiple platforms:  from magazines, supplements, manuals and books, to websites, mobile, apps, e-newsletters and events.  This month’s success looks set to continue with our 100 page, second annual Men’s Health Watch supplement published with the December issue.”

Men’s Health has recently launched a number of highly successful brand extensions to strengthen its position as the UK’s leading men’s lifestyle brand.

The Men’s Health ‘Manual’ series has been a huge circulation success and since May the mobile site has seen user figures double. The Men’s Health Training Pro iPhone app has had more than 40,000 downloads since June.

Men's Health reinforced its number one position, say the publishers, with an ABC of 218,368 - its fifth consecutive period as the number 1 male lifestyle title.
