Steve took up the position on 1st January 2018 and brings with him significant industry experience in a career spanning over 30 years in senior board, supply chain, marketing, business development and project based roles.
Steve has long been involved with not only the Press Distribution Forum, but also its predecessors. He played a key role in supporting and establishing the first ISSA agreement, also contributing to its many updates, and held positions on several Joint Industry Group committees.
More recently, he was involved in the creation of the PDC, the complaints procedure, and consequent establishment of the PDRP group.
Within his remit the PDRP Chair will be conducting an assessment of the workings of the PDRP, the Charter understanding within the supply chain and seeking to improve compliance.
The board paid tribute to the “immense contribution” made by Neil Robinson who stepped down as Chair earlier this year. Neil served from the inception of the PDRP and was instrumental in its evolution and onward development. Neil’s tenure ensured the provision of an independent, transparent and properly accountable complaints process, said the board of the Press Distribution Forum.
