New look for Classic FM magazine

The fantastic all-new Classic FM magazine is the culmination of five months’ work for the editorial and publishing teams who left no stone unturned as they looked to improve upon the UK’s most popular classical music magazine, says the publishers.

Working closely with the radio station Classic FM carried out market analysis and reader research to ensure that the magazine not only had the content that the readers wanted but presented it in the correct tone.

The result is that the magazine now delivers accessible and engaging classical music content for the listeners of the radio station and anyone with a growing interest in classical music. Some of the great new features in the new magazine are: the introduction of a cover-mounted complete-work CD, a newly expanded six-page great composer profile, a totally revamped reviews section and of course a brand-new cover design.

Kate Law, Publisher of Classic FM Magazine commented “We’re absolutely delighted with the redesign. Editor John Evans and his small team (Sandra Marques, Jo Donovan and Andrew Mellor) have worked incredibly hard through this process to deliver what I believe is a wonderfully clear, easy-to-read and enjoyable magazine. In conjunction with the new complete-work cover CD (delivered off the back of a sterling licence deal brokered by Luca Da Re, CFM’s Brand Manager) we are going to market with an incredibly compelling content package and have high hopes for the magazine going forward.”

A very active radio advert campaign has been running on the station throughout the first week on-sale and the presenters have even drafted in to give the new magazine a plug.
