Industry charity, NewstrAid, has launched a brand-new film to help promote who they are and what they do within the newspaper and magazine industry.

The animated film lasts less than 3 minutes and covers a range of topics including who the charity helps, how it helps and how others can get involved in its work.

Neil Jagger, CEO for NewstrAid, said: “We are constantly striving to ensure that everyone working in the sale and distribution of newspapers and magazines knows the name NewstrAid and what we represent. That way, we can be sure that if and when help is needed, as many people as possible know where to turn.”

In addition to outlining the financial, emotional and practical support the charity can offer, the film also covers ways to get involved with the charity as a volunteer or fundraiser.

Neil Jagger added, “This film really does cover everything you need to know in a nutshell and we hope it will give industry colleagues, old and new, a better understanding of what NewstrAid is all about.”

NewstrAid says the new film was officially launched on the charity’s ‘Woolly Wednesday’ awareness day earlier this month, which highlighted the help available to those struggling to stay warm and pay their bills this winter.
