The role at Boots, which will cover both print and digital projects, marks a welcome return to customer publishing, as Rachael worked for Redwood early in her career. She was deputy chief sub-editor of BBC Good Food magazine when she left in 1993.

Nicki Hill, board account director at Redwood commented: “We are pleased to welcome Rachael back to Redwood and are confident that her wide-ranging experience working for consumer magazines will be an asset to us and Boots. We believe she is an excellent addition to an already successful editorial team.”

In this changing media climate, customer publishing plays a more important role than ever, and the Boots editorial team produce content to rival some of the best consumer magazines. It’ll be great to come back to Redwood after all these years, and bring my newsstand experience to the Boots portfolio.”
