Scootering Magazine Rides in to its 25th Year

Mortons Media Group is to publish a commemorative 25th anniversary issue of Scootering magazine on 29th April 2010.

The first issue of Scootering was published on 25 April 1985 by Myatt McFarlane, and the magazine has since built a reputation as being the number choice for scooter enthusiasts young and old, says Mortons.

Whether it be the social events, the music, the best customised Lambrettas and Vespas in the world, meticulous technical articles (from tuning to maintenance and modifications to servicing) or thorough road tests of the newest scooters in the showrooms - Scootering magazine claims to be second to none.

To celebrate the magazine’s 25th anniversary, readers are promised a re-printed copy of the very first issue from 1985 free with their May 2010 issue.

Scootering Editor Andy Gillard said: “Copies of the first issue are so rare today that when they do occasionally come up for sale the price is often quite a lot more than the £1.20 it cost back in 1985 (and indeed the £3.75 Scootering costs today!).”

Competition prizes for the 25th anniversary issue include a brand new LML scooter, plus Tucano Urbano rider clothing and signed scooter related artwork.
