Launched last week, the fully responsive and user-friendly site replaces the previous version last updated in 2012. Completely rewritten and redesigned, it promotes the company's wide variety of UK and worldwide delivery services, and its ‘easier to do business with' culture, says the company.
Following responsive web design principles, Spatial Global's new website has been designed for viewing on all modern browsers and platforms – from smartphones and tablets to laptops, desktops and TVs. It has been built around the company's refocused and simplified commercial structure – based on its principal services of freight, mail and e-commerce support.
Comprising 65 pages, it features over 200 images and 22,000 words of text, and was built by Norfolk-based web design company, Webmaker Limited.
Created to make it easy for users to find the information they need, particular attention has been paid to navigation of the new website, says Spatial. As well as a cascading main menu, it features sub-menus, a breadcrumb trail, sitemap and site search facility. The website also has a punchy slideshow on the homepage, plus company news, customer testimonials, case studies, frequently asked questions, careers and contact forms, a secure administrative area, and a portal where customers can track their orders, manage stock, etc.
Spatial Global's Executive Chairman, Mike Wallis, commented: “We are very enthusiastic about our new website, and delighted with the patience, diligence and expertise of our web designers, Webmaker Ltd. The content, structure, design and navigation are all excellent, and the site accurately portrays the business's professionalism and the benefits of working with us. It has been built from the ground up with search engine optimisation in mind, and answers the types of questions that prospective customers will ask before deciding whether to make further contact with us.”
Spatial Global is a member of The Keswick Enterprises Group – the UK-based logistics and supply chain services group.
