First Mailing, a direct mailing house in the UK, has announced the expansion of its paper wrapping capabilities with the installation of a third paper wrapping machine. Scheduled to be operational this month, the new addition comes just in time for the busy Christmas season, with work commencing in September.
First Mailing says this investment underlines its commitment to enhancing service delivery and meeting the evolving needs of its customers. The new machine is equipped with a camera matching system, ensuring accuracy and quality in every wrapped package, added the company.
“Our third paper wrapping line represents a substantial increase in our capacity, enabling us to handle more orders efficiently and with greater precision,” said Stuart Searle, managing director at First Mailing. “The inclusion of a camera matching system means we can offer our customers even more reliable and high-quality service.”
Like the existing lines, First Mailing continued, the new machine will be able to handle heavy weight Kraft paper, a popular choice among customers for its durability and eco-friendly properties. In addition, the company says it is conducting trials with a wider reel paper, which will allow the wrapping of larger packs, thus expanding the range of services available to customers.
“This expansion is a direct response to the growing demand from our clients for more versatile and efficient paper wrapping solutions,” Stuart Searle continued. “With the ability to wrap bigger packs, we can cater to a broader array of mailing needs, providing greater flexibility and convenience for our customers.”
