Tim Ross joins UK Government Team at Bloomberg News

Bloomberg News yesterday announced that Tim Ross will join its UK government team based in Westminster on September 26.

With 15 years’ experience reporting UK politics and current affairs, Ross joins Bloomberg News from the Telegraph Media Group where he was most recently senior political correspondent.

Ross will report to Alan Crawford, European government head, and will work closely with Simon Kennedy, Brexit editor, and the Bloomberg News politics team in Westminster.

“Tim is a terrific addition to the Bloomberg News government team and his track record speaks for itself. He will play a vital role in our coverage of Brexit, which is of critical interest to our readers,” says Alan Crawford, European government head, Bloomberg News. “In addition to the minute-by-minute headlines that inform how they trade, our news guides hiring and investment decisions in this unprecedented time of upheaval in UK policy.”

Tim Ross adds: “I am delighted to be joining Bloomberg News at such an important moment in terms of UK and European politics. It’s a world-class journalism organisation with huge resources, range and ambition. I’m looking forward to the next challenge and working alongside the Westminster politics team.”

Bloomberg News recently launched a daily Brexit Bulletin, which is delivered free via email by 8am every morning.
