Uncut Collection at Royal Albert Hall

Uncut magazine has announced the launch of a new exhibition in partnership with Sonic Editions.

The Uncut Collection will showcase limited edition music photography, available to fans for the first time, from 5 October - 1 November. The exhibition will form part of the Royal Albert Hall’s reflect exhibition series.

With iconic content from some of the world’s most noted music photographers and the most extensive music archives, the collection spans decades of music history, and gives music lovers the chance to own limited edition prints of bands and artists from The Beatles to Amy Winehouse.

The exhibition, curated by Uncut editor Allan Jones, contains some of the most prolific acts of the last 50 years including The Sex Pistols, Johnny Cash, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, The White Stripes, Joy Division, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin and Kurt Cobain photographed in their prime by some of our greatest photographers including James Fortune, Peter Anderson and Uncut contributor Andy Willsher.

Uncut is the home of great, timeless rock music, from Bob Dylan to Arcade Fire, say the publishers. It is the monthly magazine of choice for discerning, knowledgeable music fans that typically grew up with the classic rock of the sixties and seventies who continue to be excited by new music that connects them to the records they have always loved.

Allan Jones says: “Uncut is thrilled to be hosting this exhibition in collaboration with Sonic Editions and the Royal Albert Hall, one of London’s best-loved venues. Great photography is as important to Uncut as great writing and The Uncut Collection brilliantly features images of many of rock’s most enduring icons, and brilliantly celebrates their legends and the unforgettable music they’ve made across more than five decades.”

Fans will have a unique opportunity to choose their own piece of rock history with all prints on display in The Uncut Collection on sale on selected open days as well as online from only £69 framed.
