Wallpaper* appoints new fashion director

Wallpaper*, the international design, fashion and lifestyle magazine, has promoted Sébastien Clivaz to the role of fashion director.

In addition to three years as Wallpaper’s men’s fashion editor, Sébastien’s fashion credentials also include four years as executive fashion editor at Arena Homme Plus.

Wallpaper* editor-in-chief Tony Chambers (pictured) says: “Sébastien’s immense talent, passion and brilliant ideas made him our first choice to lead Wallpaper’s fashion editorial, a key strand within the magazine. Under Sébastien’s direction, Wallpaper’s fashion coverage will continue its upward trajectory.”

Sébastien adds: “I’m very excited to be Wallpaper’s fashion director and to take the lead in developing the magazine's renowned fashion offering. Wallpaper* has an excellent fashion team and I look forward to involving a broad range of creative talents to further strengthen our unique fashion proposition and its international outlook.”

At the same time, junior fashion editor Ursula Geisselmann is promoted to fashion editor and Mandy Wilmer becomes fashion and bookings manager.

Sébastien starts his new position with immediate effect. He replaces Kim Andreolli, who after three years’ outstanding work at Wallpaper* has returned full-time to her first love, photography.
