Women’s Health appoints new Editor

Women’s Health has appointed Claire Sanderson as its new Editor.

Claire will join from Sun Online where she is currently Associate Features Editor. With over 17 years’ experience, Claire has held a number of senior roles on high-profile media brands including Assistant Editor of Look and look.co.uk, Acting Deputy News Editor of Grazia, and Senior News Writer of First magazine

Claire takes up her position on 16 January and will oversee the editorial strategy and execution of the brand.

Claire says: “As a super fan of Women’s Health since its launch, I’m thrilled to be taking on the role of Editor. My passion for outstanding journalism, plus my obsession with all things health and fitness will drive the brand forward while continuing to offer original, must-read content across print and digital. Heading up its talented team will be a privilege. I can’t wait to get started.”

Anna Jones, CEO of Hearst, says: “Claire has a proven track record of developing media brands and working across platforms. She inherits a brand in great shape. Women’s Health has gone from strength to strength since we launched it almost five years ago and Claire is the right person to lead it through its next stage of growth.”

Claire will replace Katie Mulloy, who is leaving the brand to study to become a nutritional therapist.
